Firstly welcome to the fray, 'tis a good place to talk Pentax indeed :-)

A 17mm or 16mm Fisheye lens in 35mm format is generally know as a full 
frame Fisheye lens ie the entire frame is covered therefore there will only be 
180 degrees angle of view across the diagonal of the frame. The HAOV 
should be about 150 degrees and the VAOV covers ~100 degrees.

A 17f4 fisheye sold on eBay last week for US$385, the newer SMCPA16f2.8 
Fisheye often sells for significantly more, there is also a current Zoom 
fisheye and several third party lenses (including some Russian variants) 
which are significantly less expensive. I hope this helps.
