Are you sure the *Ist cannot do it?  What do you base this on?  They
quote a flash sync of 1/125 based on normal flashes - your ZX-L can only
do it with specialised flashes - this is more a flash rather than a body
function.  I would guess if it has the wireless and advanced features of
the 360FGZ that it can syn the same as the zx-l.

I suppose if they keep making it smaller, people will eventually end up
using the screen on the digitals instead and at that point they can
argue nobody uses the screen and get rid of it altogether!!! ;-)
