If you hate frames (and who doesn't <g>), you can use a marvelous piece of free software called the Proxomitron. It's a web proxy that allows you to change almost anything that annoys you about web pages. I have it set to automatically jump out of frames with each link. I also have it set to never open new browser windows, as some web sites insist on doing. It comes with pre-set filters which you can activate to do things like stop pop-up ads, kill scrolling marquees and BLINK tags, etc. If you know a bit of HTML you can easily make it do just about anything you want. http://www.proxomitron.org/ -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
