This could be the logical next step, and a lot of people in Japan apparently think so too (perhaps with a great deal of wishful thinking as well :-). After all, Pentax obviously significantly upgraded their AF and AE in the *ist line of SLRs. These upgraded performances are actually almost incompatible with the entry level lines. They must have plans to apply them in the upscale models. The year just started and there have been a lot of talks of more products to come. Pentax at least (or appear to have) announced the long waited DSLR with a bunch of other superior digital products. With the dust started settling now (in the world of PDML), perhaps we should relax a bit and watch how the future unfolds in the coming months :-). Cheers, Ken
