First of all, I don't know how trustworthy this info is!!! Pentax will release three new wide angles this fall
1. 18-35mm f/3.5-5.6 (the lens the *ist D was shown with at the PMA) 2. Pro??? 16-35mm f/2.8 or 3.5 3. 16mm f/?
Second there is also a potential problem with non A lenses and the white balance & exposure system on the *ist D.
Please don't flame me, this info comes from someone that should have some info but that I can't personally vouch for.
