I've never done any printing myself, but I was reading about making contact prints from negatives, and it would seem unnecessary to use an enlarger for this purpose. It seems you'll just need a contact frame and a way to shine light onto it. Of course I don't know how you'd control the exposure time. Anyone like to explain this process?
Try this. Go to Home Depot and buy one of those clip on reflector lights, an extension cord, and you should be able to find in the electrical section a switch with a male and female plug. Put a 100W bulb in, hang it high enough to completely cover the contact frame with some overlap. Connect the switch between the light and the extension cord. Use a watch or clock with a second hand to time. You should be 10 seconds + for exposure. You don't need anything more accurate for a contact print.
