Thanks, Treena!I have this lens, and mine has loosened up over time. At some point, someone had instructions to tighten the zoom/focus collar up posted. I think it had something to do with rolling back the rubber on the collar and tightening a screw. Anyway, I've had this lens for about 15 years. It's not SMC, but if you stay away from bad flare situations with it, it's a great lens - sharper than you would think.
Could you or someone post a link to the PDML archives? Maybe I could search them for that.
