Most in here are wanting 30-40 year old stuff to work with todays technology. Go back 
that far with Canon and then do the 
comparision... :-)

Point being that Pentax has supported their legacy stuff far better then Nikon or 
Canon has over the =long= haul. That is most likely 
going to change...
