I think we are talking at cross purposes. If you are waiting to jump on
board the latest technology, where ever you get on, weeks or months later,
you are no longer at the cutting edge.

I run an old 266Mhz PC and my cameras are MXs, LXs and a 67. I'm very happy
with them (well, perhaps not the computer) and my cameras do what I want,
but I am interested in DSLRs and will probably get one at some stage -
second hand, after someone trades up to the latest model :-)
