Hi Arnold, Just one additional question will it be possible to find out whether owners of the *ist D will be able to update the camera 'firmware' via downloads from the various Pentax websites?
My present digital camera that I recently purchased requires for the camera to be returned to the manufacturers service department (in Portugal) for any firmware updates, and of course there is a charge for this service, in addition I have been told that it takes six weeks!
