Depending on the flash and what you're shooting Dave; NPH is pretty gosh
darn good in my books - but I'm shooting mostly people. Portra NC would be
my back up. NPZ rules - but it's expensive to shoot.

Seeing as how it's going to be so gosh darn sunny.. I'm grabbing some chrome
film this morning and dropping it into the Blad and trying out some 6x6
Provia down in the local markets (Kensington and St Lawrence for you
Torontonians).
I'm going to take along the ME-F and see what I can shoot with that as
well - it came with this Sigma 35-70 2.8-4.0 zoom but I haven't got a clue
what that's like.

I've been so busy the last few weeks, both during the week and on weekends
that I've not had time to do any shooting nor do much else other than
support clients full time and part time. Maybe this weekend's warming trend
will also allow me to not have to support them for a while yet :)

I still owe some local PDML'rs some coin for things I've said I'll purchase
but haven't gotten around to picking up...

Cheers,
Dave

It looks like a warm trend is setting in to southern ontario,so,with snow
meltage a
given,
i'm parking a few rolls of Tmax and Portra 400nc in the truck and try and
get some last
winter
pic's.Also its indoor show season now, some of the girls are showing ,so its
back to the
grind.
Ken,i tried some supra 800 last year and was not that fond of it.I just
tried a roll of
NPZ and it was nice
but ymmv.I lust got back a roll of the NPH shot with flash and dull out door
light,and was
not
impressed.I think Portra 400nc might be a tad better.

Dave
