No need to sneak. Drop by a feed store and get a couple of pounds of 
*rolled* or *cracked* corn as a bribe for the duckies. They are 
pretty stupid, but soon figure out when someone is dispensing yummies 
for them. You will have them milling about your feet muttering "more, 
more" in no time.

Be alert for the presence of other species such as wood ducks among 
the mallards. 

Footnote: *Rolled* corn is whole kernels passed between a pair of 
rollers to crush them somewhat and break the seed coats. *Cracked* 
corn has been put through a chopper and is finer. Around here at 
least, cracked corn costs more -- and the ducks don't like it as much 
as they do rolled corn. Maybe the pieces are hard to see?
