It's such a personal thing.  Thus far I've found that using a fast
lens with the LX and the SA-23 screens is about as easy for me as
with the Leica M3.  I suppose, in part, one's results depends on the
viewfinder.  The M3 has what is arguably the easiest-to-focus
viewfinder of all rangefinder cameras.

Now, when it comes to slower SLR lenses, like 3.5 or slower, and the
standard screen in the MX, ME-S, and LX, there's no contest: the M3
wins all the time.

One thing that I recently discovered quite by accident, is that I
can focus the M3 quite well without need for my glasses.
