Last time we did anything like that, it was also religious young couples with small children (as well as male and female retirees).
I would recommend them to read some of the writings of St. Augustin of Hippo, especially the Letters and Confessions. Then some readings on his life and the influence he had on the Catholic Church. Very enlightening.
I'd also suggest them some readings on the non-muslim cultures and religions in Asia.
And now I'll retreat in my cave before anyone calls me a pagan.
