Had a chance to toy with the Optio S today. As everyone has said, feels pretty nice in the hand. Different battery than previous Optios (oh well) and 11mb built in with an SD memory slot (old news I'm sure).
I found it faily easy to use...all of the menu items are similar to past Optios and other controls are pretty self-expanitory. Very nice camera...just had to sell one today. I have two pictures from the Optio S posted on my personal site: http://d.spaulding.tripod.com/fly2void The images are 5x7 (approx.) at 72 dpi. May take a minute or two to load. On another note: I've been to Las Vegas several times...there is a canyon nearby...Fire Canyon or Canyon of Fire...I wanted to go and shoot the last time I was there, but time ran out. Wouldn't mind a chance to try again.
