Funny you should mention that. I've just been thinking about writing a short story about a photographer who leads an fanatical "disciple" on a brutally difficult mountain climb for the purposes of taking a photograph, carrying a huge view camera and tripod (this is kind of inspired by the ascent of Grandfather Mountain's McRae Peak with Cesar and Jerome last year!), only to reveal at the end that he's so much of a purist that he shoots without film now, just for the experience of setting up the shot. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
