Is Pentax really the only camera manufacturer to have taken advantage of this? The coding for exposure latitude has been part of the DX code ever since it was developed in 1984 or so, which means it was expected that future cameras would be able to use this information in some way ... These three Pentax cameras can't be the only ones to have ever made use of this data, can they?

Well, its over a little faster than I had hoped.

David and Roland are correct...The PZ(Z)-1 and 1p along with the MZ-S have the ability to read the exposure latitude of film. Give that little extra for exposure other cameras do not have.

The film is yours, Roland, since David did not want it. Let me know where to send it.

By the way, Pentax has a few bits of technology that give them an edge over the competition - that's why I use what I have.

Thanks for playing all.
