Don't have a clue as to the value, but I have always been intrigued by the idea of shooting stereo stuff. Saw a guy in Arches Park with a couple of Canon AE-1s on a Manfrotto arm contraption that had a tipod head at each end. He said he was shooting stereo pairs that way, and liked what he was getting.
