Very quick note. Was in one of the local camera shops today (trying to get a go of a new Optio S, but it hadn't arrived yet). One thing I did hear was the expected price of the *istD. According to the Pentax rep, the price is going to be under EUR 1600 (based on a UK price of ... �999 ! )
For comparison, the EOS 10D costs just under EUR 2300 here, body-only.
