Even cheaper: Minolta HiMatic F - 2.8 40mm lens, full auto with no manual overide, manual focus - takes reasonably sharp pics - usually around $25 on eBay - a bit smaller than the Canonet.
Another expensive one: Leica CL - 2.0 40mm Summicron C lens is sharp and contrasty as hell, ttl metered fully manual - I don't know how it compares to the Ricoh, but around $500US on eBay seems the going price for users. A teeny bit bigger than the Minolta.
