Andre,

I found the nut to fit the lug purely by accident. I
had a box full of broken cameras and other items that
I went through and came across the nut that ended up
working perfectly. The threads on the lug are very
fine. I had tried a number of machine nuts (metric)
but none did the trick.

Remember also that you'll have to drill out the back
of the grip in order to fit a nut and this is a
delicate procedure. A bench vise is essential in this
operation. The good thing is that the plastic is
rather tough and durable. It works like wood. Just
take your time.

Good Luck.
