<snip stuff of Pentax glass>

Dave,

That is something that takes a little bit of getting used to. I am now
using it consistently and have a very low miss rate. Though, when in a rush
it is easy enough to jump out of the menus. While shooting I have it set to
switch through white balance settings.

Considering everything else it has going for it, I can live with the minimal
annoyance.

And it is definitely its size that catches people's attention. Once I show
them the camera and its features even they begin to rave about it.

I still have people asking about how I manually focused the camera on
Saturday night and still got some excellent shots with it. Ahhhh,
photographer's secret (said solemnly while wringing the hands).
