I had this same experience yesterday. I was opening the box at my (messy) desk, and the camera slid out in that little white foam bag and nestled half under a stack of paper. Took me five minutes to unravel the mystery.
I know everyone says this, so I won't disappoint y'all: Damn, it's little! The only problem I have had is knowing when the shutter has actually fired. I've actually missed some shots because I didn't actually take the picture! I've also decided the best way to depress the shutter is to squess the whole camera between my index finger and thumb so that I can apply pressure equally and not jerk the camera. It's going to take my clumsy self some time to get used to this thing. The lens is pleasingly fast, however, and the ISO 200 equivalent sensitivity keeps me honest with the noise low. This is definitely the "constant companion" camera. Trivial to carry, fairly full featured, and fully PUGable. I am looking for a car adaptor, however, so I don't have a "cotty".
