Well, We ended up meeting with Mark, who did come here (the freezing rain/snow didn't start until around 3 in the afternoon). Dave Chang-Sang and I met him at a local pub, and Brendan made a surprise appearance (only one hour late! <g>).
Had a few micro-brew beers, talked cameras, Pentax and stuff for a bit. We all drooled at Mark's 43mm Limited that he had on his MZ-S, but (with all humility), I think the biggest drools occured when I put the 43 on my silver MX! What a beautiful combo!! They seemed to be made for each other!! Like every other list member I've had the pleasure of meeting, Mark is a terrific guy, and a wonderful time was had by all. The freezing rain had turned to snow by the time Mark decided to leave at around 9 - it's a 5 hour drive to Pittsburgh, so I hope Mark makes it okay. Hopefully the bad weather will subside by the time he gets through Buffalo. Let us know when you get back, Mark (I'm worried about you driving in this weather). It was great to meet you! cheers, frank -- "Hell is others" -Jean Paul Sartre
