Cannot comment on the Canon or up coming Pentas DLSR Shutter speeds,just the D1 'cus i
have one.I 
shoot mostly fast action stuff with it and it performs very well.The buffer in the 
camera
is fairly big and 
i have never ran out of space if i'm "blasting away" lol
