I can't speak to those lenses, since I haven't used them.  I did notice
that KEH (http://www.keh.com/) has an FA 300/4.5 in BGN (bargain)
condition for only $275! I've bought a number of lenses in BGN
condition from them, and only on one has there been any visible
degradation, and that was on the hood, not the lens.

Well, I can say for sure that the A 200/4 works with it.  At f/4,
though, the AF isn't as fast or as accurate as it is with a faster
lens.  With my Tamron 90/2.5 and the 1.7 it's good, and the 1.7 with an
A 50/1.4 is downright snappy.  Of course, it should be quicker and more
accurate on a shorter focal length lens.
