I've been trying to teach myself C++ for several years now but it's been mostly frustration. I can write the numerical algorithms but I can never seem to get the graphics to do what I want. I always end up just writing it in Visual Basic. VB is fine for my pedagogical apps, but I wish I could feel comfortable with sometimes that runs a little faster. I guess I never got over Fortran . . .
