my wife and me we call it (*ist-D) "Digikist", because in German "kist"
doesn't sound like "kissed" in English, but more like "Kiste" = engl.

So the german crate is an often used idiom for devices like TV set
("Flimmerkiste"), radio or camera ("Knipskiste").
