Hi Dave,
D76 1:1 is probably the best choice of general purpose developers. Xtol
was brought on the market as a semi organic developer that, with Tmax,
finally yielded the advertised speed. With Tri-X it does enhance the speed
some what. Overall, they are both clean working developers and Xtol will
keep longer than D76 (full strength).
