No, what he meant was that the flash exposure compensation has to be
controlled by Z-1p (just like it does with any other TTL flash), and not
by 360FGZ itself.

The flash exposure compensation feature in 360FGZ only works in P-TTL
mode. So only cameras with P-TTL compatibility, such as MZ-S, MZ-6/ZX-L or
*ist, would allow this.  Other Pentax cameras use plain TTL mode with
360FGZ.
