If we're talking about unsupervised children, I agree. If we're talking
about adults and professionals, that's another story. The world is not safe.
All things have a risk. Risks, even trivial ones have meaning for those who
take them. Those who work with fireworks know and accept the risks. When
interviewed on television, they are proud of what they consider their art,
and those who merely help are proud to do so.

God save us from nannies that "know" they know what's best for us and want
to care for us as though we were little children.
