I'll second Kominek's. I use them all the time, and mention them often on this list. They've worked on a couple of my Spotmatics, my MX, my Leica CL, and a couple of lenses. They're quick, always come in around estimate, and friendly and easy to deal with as well. I've also mentioned before, that they're good scroungers of old parts. They repaired a Pentax zoom for Dave Chang-Sang that Pentax Canada wouldn't touch - they managed to scrounge a helicoid (is that a word?) for the lens that Pentax simply told Dave was no longer available!
I have a 40mm lens for my Leica that has oil on the blades (which isn't as big a deal on a non-auto-aperture lens), and they've quoted $50Cdn to clean it. cheers, frank Peter Spiro wrote: > I had my 35mm f/2 cleaned at Kominek camera repair in Toronto.
