Hey, welcome to the family! I don't have any personal experience with
the 50mm f1.2 (other than wanting one), so I'll let someone else tell
you about that in detail, but I think the general consensus is that the
50mm f1.2 is not quite as sharp as the 1.4 at the wider end of the
aperture range.
