Ah, I remember this well. Our last night in England (RAF Mildenhall), and a couple of guys get in an "Indian Wrestling" match at the NCO club. The little one falls and breaks a leg. He's drunk. I (the so called "medic") am also in the NCO club and somewhat inebriated. I find our flight surgeon at the O club (he's drunk too). We load the patient in the old crackerbox ambulance, Doc riding with him in back and me driving the 6 miles to RAF Lakenheath at something like 0100 in the morning, blue lights flashing and TRYING to remember to drive on the wrong side of the road. The looks we got from the ER crew at Lakenheath were, to say the least, memorable. Bill
