Don't dismiss them out of hand.  At various times in the past Sears sold a
variety of rebadged lenses made by various manufacturers, many were Chinon
and Ricoh sourced K-Mount lenses andof varying quality.  The only real way
to tell is to shoot a roll of pics and see if you like them...  If the price
is right they may be a good buy depending on your needs, expectations, and
budget.
