Speaking of Pentax lenses, isn't the infamous 40mm "pancake" lens part of that mystique? Or is it a 43mm? I just saw a 40mm Olympus 'pancake' lens offered on eBay for something like $750 or more, with the 'opinion' of others of "GRAB it!" Is that in the range of the Pentax lens, or is it a bit high? I don't buy many new lenses, and I have no sense of value in present day new lenses...
