The number on the1.4x teleconverter is Pz-AF MC4.  I use it with the Tamron
70-300 lens (the one with the macro switch on it).  The 2x one is marked MC
2x Pz/AF.  They both work with autofocus, but there really has to be enough
light in the scene or AF keeps searching.
