When I first heard about this I thought it was a total scam - that 
is, I figured
they
just had a regular throwaway with film in it in a new casing and the 
only thing
digital
was the CD you got when it was processed.  ba-ba-boom.

But the reality sounds even worse :)

Well, actually, I don�t see it as selling, more like a leasing 
agreement.  They�ll just empty the memory and give it the next 
customer.  It may become interesting when they start forgetting to 
delete...
