Sorry to hear about your reversal of fortune, Frank. Try to stay optimistic, it may work out better than you expect. Ten years ago, I left my good job at the power company (Ontario Hydro) because of impending large-scale layoffs. All I found was a horrible job, with a 25% pay cut. Three years later, I left that job, due to a sudden lack of mobility, upwards, sideways, or anyways.
Looking back now, I'm not sure I'd have preferred it any other way. I'm pretty happy here, with not much to complain about, other than a few daily inconveniences. Well, I miss riding my bike, and my motorbike, but I sure enjoy my photography (two model sessions scheduled next week). Hopefully, your changes will be changes for the better. Best of luck, bro.
