If anyone could point me to an English-language equivalent, it would be
very welcome. I've just bought a K2 body, and I'm completely baffled by
the film speed changing.

I can set the exposure override ring to x1 OK. And then the film speed
setting catch will press in, happily. But should I then try to rotate the
ring with the ASA numbers on it, using the catch - that won't turn. Or do
I try to turn the exposure override ring, using its ears? That mostly
changes the exposure override, but sometimes the film speed will change a
little too. I've now got it on 400ASA, and I think I'll leave it there for
now, unless someone can explain.

thanks,
