And why not? After all, when I got back into photography several years ago, the clerk at my local Service Merchandise store told me that the "TV" on the ZX-50 dial was for taking photos of a television screen. Could this kind of service have anything to do with the fact that they're no longer in business?

Oddly enough, on my Ricoh RZ-800 the TV mode actually ~IS~ for taking photos of a television screen. So the clerk wasn't so mad after all!
