Digital will eventually win, but it won't be as quick as some people
think.

This is right.  It is another tool.  It will augment my photographic
tool box not replace what I have already.  I have no plans of updating
my MZ-S's to *ist's, nor do I plan on stoping using Kodachrome in the
near future just because E-6 films are easier to process.  I have plans
for a digital camera.  Some of them could be easily covered with a
cheaper P&S digital but others can not, so the *ist D is on the
shopping list for hopefully by the end of September or early October
because some of my projects need to be done soon.
