I have a ZX-M (same as MZ-M) and I like it ok. I've heard a lot of griping
about the finder, but I haven't had a problem with it. No, it's nowhere
near as good as my ME Super or Super Program or even K1000SE, but it's ok.
Especially if you have slow (around f/4 lenses) it seems to do pretty well.
I don't think the plastic mount is a big deal unless you're putting some
serious heavy lenses on it ( I wouldn't want to mount my M*300/4 -no tripod
mount, for instance) and mine has been pretty durable (dropped from a house
top roof, drowned, kicked-the perils of having children interested in
photography).

If you really like manual focus though, you really need to find an ME or ME
Super or MX...these have really great finders especially with faster lenses.
