The *ist D that is. Our local Pentax rep gave me a call on his way to GFM via Hickory and asked if I wanted to fondle an *ist D. About 20 minutes later I had one in my grubby little paws. I only had a 16 MB CF card with me, but here are 3 grab shots taken about 30 minutes ago:
http://groups.msn.com/BillOwensPhotos/shoebox.msnw?Page=Last It's much smaller and lighter than my MZ-S. Viewfinder seemed pretty bright with the (I think) 18-35 on it. I pulled the lens and there is an aperture lever, but further testing tomorrow evening on the mountain will determine how much it may be crippled. Left side of the lens mount is typical Pentax, and even includes a PC terminal. Hyper modes appear identical to the PZ-1P. Bill
