I'd love to see the shots when you can show them off. I've been a
Microdol-X fan for years, although I use it with Ilford Pan-F.

Once I took a close look at the negs, I was surprised to see that they had been shot almost a year ago. Although they are just snap shots, the technical quality is not bad (especially considering that the film was 5 years or so out of date when exposed, and has sat around for almost a year since then.)

A couple of samples - black cat with white whiskers sitting in a white bath tub:

that shot looks to be a stop over-exposed (the TTL flash must of gotten confused), made up for it in the scanning process.

The tabby died suddenly last fall, so that shot was taken at least 10 months ago. Kinda haunting to see her pop off the film after this while...

Looks like the Microdol does a nice job. The local camera store had Microdol, T-Max developer, HC-110, and D-19 in when I checked yesterday. I'm used to using D-76 (mostly because that is what the lab I used stocked.)

I'll probably shoot more B&W now that I'm setup to develop it at home - never did get a decently developed roll out of the lab I use. I have a couple of really out of date High Speed IR rolls here, plus a Hoya RM90 IR filter that I want to take for a spin - I'll probably set up with some HC 110 to develop that (though the D-19 I have is an option too.)

I have a few rolls of Pan-F in this collection of film I inherited - so I'll give it a try sometime soon.
