I recently got my dad's old camera (P50) which most of the time works fine. There is one problem: sometimes when the shutter is cocked, the camera does not fire when I press the release button. It doesn't seem to be a bad contact as I hear some light ticking inside the camera, is is like something is stuck. The problem seems to happen each time I leave the camera cocked for a while (10 minutes or more) and then try to take a picture. Solution is now to only cock the shutter when I am sure I will take the picture, but that is not so convenient.
Does anybody else have experienced this?
