I have a couple of questions about the 550 (from a friend to whom I have recommended the Optio's):
1) How does it perform in low light scenes with long exposure times (the optics being slower than on some slightly bigger competitors) ? 2) Is the 5 second startup time a problem ? I am under the impression the batteries last pretty long in the 550 so is it advisable to leave the thing powered on when doing occasional shooting every now and then rather than swithing the thing off after every shot ? (Not wishing to miss a shot because of the long startup time) 3) Is it advisable to get a SD card reader for the PC instead of USB downloading ?
