Ricoh use two K mount:In preparing for the sooner-or-later retail channel stocking of the *ist D, followed closely (likely) by my purchase of it, I'm trying to figure out if the body alone will suffice or if I should purchase it in conjunction with the 18-35mm zoom. I already own a Sigma 21-35mm f3.5-4.2 with 77mm filter size, and in a 'K-PR' mount (according to the sticker on the side of the box, I think it translates to 'K mount for Pentax and Ricoh'). It works well with my existing Pentax 35mm bodies (ZX-5, Super Program and K1000) but I suspect it won't be full-function compatible with the *ist D. Correct, or am I being overly pessimistic? Thanks in advance for your feedback!
1 - the same as original K mount
2 - the auto mount: this mount has the same electricals pins as the original KA mount, an additional pin and a "A" (or P) stting on the aperture ring, as the Pentax KA.

If your lens has this A (or P) setting, she is full compatible with *ist/*istD.
