I missed the original post and it has not hit the archives - but from the subject line...

My usual kit has an Mz-S, Pz-1p, and Lx. The Mz-S is great for studio work, still macros (like wildflowers), landscapes, and street photography. I also use the Mz-S for the rare wedding, outdoor portrait session, and event photography assignment. The great TTL flash capabilitie of the AF360FGZ and Mz-S have lead me to use this as my basic setup for extreme macros (like snowflake shots.)

The Pz-1p serves as a general backup, but also the camera of choice for birds and moving macro's (i.e. bugs shot with flash on the go.) The hypermanual "IF" function is the only way you can quickly get slow shutter TTL fill flash with the Pentax bodies (AFAIK ).

The LX is in a class of its own. The generous finder and low light capabilities make it a real pleasure to use - though to be honest it gets less use from me since the Mz-S arrived.

I also use my MX fitted with a cross-hair finder. Great for macro work where you don't want the split screen on the finder blacking out.

Last weekend I rediscovered the joys of the ME-Super and a normal lens - in this case the FA 43 f1.8. A great combo, not terribly compact (I walked behind a guy with a Lieca over his shoulder and it was much smaller) but small enough and quiet enough. I managed to get some snapshots, like of a street musician at the Ohio Street walkway
