From: Stan Halpin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>As a swede I think I can give some pointers, first skip Malmo. I grew up outside Malmo but it can't compare to Stockholm as a visitor. The few days you have are better spent in Stockholm and the area arond the city. If you want specifics let me know off list and I'll be happy to help.

Anders, Raimo, et al - my plans are becoming a bit more firm.
I have a meeting Monday-Friday 22-26 September in Linkoping. I will arrive in Stockholm via air on Friday 19 September, probably mid-morning, probably head for Linkoping via train. I'll spend the weekend recovering from jetlag, trying to learn the area a bit. Friday afternoon 26 September I will probably head for Stockholm via train. I depart Stockholm via air On Wednesday 1 October.
During this span of time, particularly in the period after my meeting, I would love to meet with you and others in the area. I am told that I should spend at least one day in Malmo, that I should spend time in Stockholm "on the island", but otherwise I am ignorant. I have just this afternoon bought two guidebooks...
